The pattern can be transferred from the paper onto the fabric using carbon paper or an iron-on transfer pen, ie Sulky brand. These are the supplies needed to complete this pattern: muslin fabric as a ground work for this type of lace, DMC Cebelia Cotton thread size 20 Ecru, crochet hook(hk) size 1.15-1.25mm(10-9 steel U.S.A.) for making the braided cords, a sharp pointed needle and sewing coloured thread for basting the corded braids onto the fabric pattern and a size 24 tapestry needle used for working the filling stitches.
