This gorgeous butterfly design is handmade in Romanian Point Lace technique and it is sold as a kit. Each kit contains: DMC Cebelia 100% cotton thread No.20 Light Purple for crochet braids and joining the braids; DMC Pearl Cotton size 8 for more crochet braids and needle stitches; DMC size 20 Pink for needle stitches; DMC Variegated size 80(or another substitute thread size 40) for needle lace stitches, rings and bridges; reusable fabric pattern; sewing colored thread and one sharp pointed needle for basting down the braids and the rings; one tapestry needle, size 24 for working the needle lace stitches and easy-to-follow, step-by-step illustrated instructions. A steel crochet hook(hk) 1.15-1.25mm(10-9) steel U.S.A.) for crocheting the braids and the rings. The finished size of the butterfly is 6.25" x 5.25"(16cm x 13cm).
